Industry News28.12.2011 15:50 Azerbaijani President attends opening of Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel Complex in Baku
Baku – APA-Economics. On December 28, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and daughter Leyla Aliyeva attended the opening of Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel in Bilgajh Settlement of Khazar District.
President has cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening. It was informed that, this complex is the first hotel of Jumeirah Group in CIS. This is the obvious case of useful investment environment of development of tourism for both local and foreign companies.
It was noted that, the hotel was constructed by Azinko Holding and covers 12 ha area. Total area of buildings here is 73,600 m², area of hotel building – 54,000 m². It has 20 floors.
There are garages for 350 cars in it.
600 guests can rest in beach part of hotel at same time. Promenad Longue restaurant in exit to seaside will serve 250 persons, Pier Grill restaurant in pier will serve to 400 persons. Totally, 9 restaurants, bars and night clubs will operate in the hotel.
Besides, there is a 450-person conference hall in the hotel.
President Ilham Aliyev met with the collective of hotel.
Then, Executive Chairman of Jumeirah Group Gerald Lawless made speech.
